The Warrior Heart Foundation is a religion and philosophy neutral organization. We believe in the value of all belief systems in their goal to connect, validate, guide and inspire us. The symbolism of the Warrior Heart Foundation logos relate to the synthesis of thoughts and ideas maintained by the foundation founder, Steven Schimmel. They do not preclude the merit or validity of any other religious of
philosophical precepts or constructs. They
are merely the personal expression of the
man who had the dream of making this
foundation a reality.

HEART
The heart represents the source of the integrity, vision, drive and determination that this foundation was founded on. It is the source of passion required to pursue a dream. When exposed (as in open hands), it represents the
vulnerability one must accept to seek the help of others.
BUDDHA WITH WINGS
This is a synthesis of Eastern and Western philosophy. Buddha is said to have been a man who ultimately reached enlightenment. His teachings inspire, but a student must actively attempt to use these teachings. The wings represent those of an angel. Angels represent ethereal beings, otherworldly souls who look out for us and intervene in our lives (empowering us) in times of need. The angel wings also relate to the possibility of Warrior Heart entrepreneurs getting initial funding for their ideas, which is known as “Angel Funding”.
BLUE COLORED BUDDHA
The blue Buddha is known as “Medicine Buddha” or the Buddha of “healing”.
Medicine Buddha is said to have unbiased compassion for all living beings.
He represents the eradication of attachment, hatred, and ignorance; three major stumbling blocks to success. In addition, blue Buddha symbolizes that some amount of “healing” in one’s life is often necessary before they can truly devote themselves to the pursuit of their dreams.
CROWN OF FIRE
Fire represents purification and a crown of fire is often used to convey “charity”. Fire also represents the internal drive that originates in the heart, driving us to improve ourselves. In Buddhist tradition, the crown also represents a state of higher spirituality.
CROSSED SWORDS
The crossed swords represent the conflict (clash) between our spiritual side
and desires versus our material side and desires. They are held together by Medicine Buddha in the middle of the heart, representing that by seeking to better ourselves, there is balance and healing; compromise and balance between the two worlds what will always be at odds inside of us.
