I had a VERY enjoyable experience this evening; I got to meet my Godfather who hadn't seen me since I was about six months old. I had no idea what to expect and he was absolutely first class. We laughed our asses off most of the night and traded some great stories.

My Godfather was kind enough to give me a copy of a book he authored containing the greatest speeches of his grandfather Winston Churchill. We discussed one before dinner that inspired by the title his book. The following quote, although meant for the far darker times of WWII, could be called to inspire the drivers of the Gumball 3000 Rally on the later days of the race...

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never--in nothing, great or small, large or petty--never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." - Winston Churchill, 1941

PS - In this case overwhelming might of the enemy might be referring to the 3 Bugatti Veyrons on the rally!
