ART & ENTREPRENEURSHIP On the surface, few similarities are readily apparent between artists and entrepreneurs. However, in reality, Art and Entrepreneurship are both about creation, fueled by passion. The energy, courage and commitment that is required to be a successful artist or entrepreneur is tantamount to having a Warrior Heart. The Warrior Heart Foundation supports the Creative Spirit inherent in all true artists and entrepreneurs and aims to provide those with potential and an inner spark, a chance to follow their dreams in these areas. Our initiatives are in support of the creative process shared by these diverse, but intrinsically similar groups. We believe that the world becomes a better place as a result of progress initiated by individuals creating new and better things that add value, be it a piece of music or a new technology. Inspiriting and empowering this process is what the Warrior Heart Foundation was created to do.

THE NAME: The name "Warrior Heart" relates to the ideal of facing life head-on. It is about acknowledging and accepting one's situation...but not being passive. It is the source of fire inside that drives you to actively expand the possibilities in your life.

To possess a "Warrior Heart" is to have the "energy, commitment and courage to face life directly, its pains and limitations, its joys and possibilities".

This definition is adapted from a principal described by American Buddhist monk Jack Kornfield, In his book "A Path With Heart".
